Back to Doordarshan

I stumbled upon this website a while ago and I can’t stop grinning. It’s got a fabulous collection of videos, commercials and theme songs from yesteryear’s…from the Doordarshan era. I grew up watching all this on television 🙂

Complan, Vico Vajradanti, Cadbury’s, Limca, Fraggle Rock, He-Man, Vicks, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Parle-G, Rasna and apni Lalita ji with Surf…it’s all there.

The Vicks ad is still my favourite 🙂

    My fav. was ” Jab main chota ladka tha… badi shararat karta tha… ab main bilkul buddha hoon.. phir bhi aaj bhi ghar ke andar…….. roshni thi tab bajaj ” !!!!!

    Oh yeah..I remember 'em all. I have a few episodes of Giant Robot on my machine 🙂
